Here in Vienna we have 40 branches of the public library. About once a week I drop by in one or the other to look for certain new books or DVDs. But some of them are much sought after by many people and so it is hard to get them. Yesterday I planed to check the online catalog for a certain new DVD but then I forgot about it. Today I dropped by at my local library branch to return a book and generally asked the librarian if they had any new DVDs available. And guess what she held in her hands at this moment? Yes, the very one that I was looking for.

Fragt, und Euch wird gegeben
Hier in Wien gibt es an die 40 Filialen der öffentlichen Bücherei. Ungefähr einmal pro Woche komme ich in die eine oder andere Filiale, um nach neuen Büchern und DVDs zu schauen. Aber Neuerscheinungen sind begehrt und daher schwer zu bekommen. Gestern beschloß ich, mich im Online-Katalog nach einer bestimmten neuen DVD zu erkundigen, vergaß dann aber darauf. Heute kam ich in meine örtliche Filiale, um ein Buch zurückzugeben und fragte nebenbei die Bibliothekarin, ob es neue DVDs gebe. Und nun ratet mal, was sie gerade ihn ihrer Hand hielt? Richtig, genau die, nach der ich suchen wollte.
