A couple of weeks ago I was guided to the website of Regina Dawn Akers<\/a>, who says that she got inspired by the Spirit of Ramana Maharshi, the famous indian teacher who lived from 1879 to 1950. This resulted in a teaching that she shares, called „The Inner Ramana“. Due to Reginas insights I got really curious about Ramana Maharshi and today I decided to get a book about him.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

Later on this afternoon I passed by a public bookshelf where anybody can leave a book or take one for free. Since I was in no hurry I had a closer look. And guess what was there awaiting me? \u201eThe Power of the Presence<\/a>\u201c, a book which covers Ramana Maharshi’s teachings extensively. Later on in a park I started reading. It was as if plus and minus were coming together. Like entering a platform the very moment when a train is about to depart and you get on it instinctively without yet knowing where it is actually going.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a sense it wasn’t me picking up the book but the book picking up me to take me to a new destination.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramana Maharshi hat mich erwartet<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vor einigen Wochen wurde ich zur Website von Regina Dawn Akers<\/a> gef\u00fchrt. Sie sagt, dass sie durch den Geist des Ramana Marharshi inspiriert wurde, den ber\u00fchmten indischen Meister, welcher von 1879 bis 1950 lebte. Dies f\u00fchrte zu einer Lehre die sie verbreitet, mit der Bezeichnung „The Inner Ramana“. Jedenfalls bin ich durch ihre Einsichten sehr neugierig auf ihn geworden und heute hatte ich beschlossen, mir ein Buch \u00fcber ihn zu besorgen.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

Am Nachmittag bin ich dann an einem \u00f6ffentlichen B\u00fccherregal vorbeigekommen, wo man ein Buch ablegen oder gratis mitnehmen kann. Da ich es nicht eilig hatte, beschloss ich, mir die B\u00fccher n\u00e4her anzusehen. Und ratet mal, welches unter den vielen B\u00fcchern dort auf mich gewartet hat? \u201eBegegnungen mit Sri Ramana Maharshi<\/a>\u201c, ein Buch welches sich intensiv mit seinen Lehren auseinander setzt. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
